Pupkewitz MegaBuild Expands SME Empowerment Programme To Ovitoto
Our Foundation | Our History | We Care
Pupkewitz MegaBuild is proud to announce the official launch of a new business partnership in Ovitoto. This partnership empowers our new partner Nguvitia Investment, to trade as a Micro-to-Mega under the Pupkewitz MegaBuild SME Empowerment Programme, as well as serve our SME customers in Ovitoto and surrounding areas.
As a proudly Namibian company, the Pupkewitz Group continues to explore exciting opportunities, deliver value to our customers as well as expand our product and service offering, thereby stimulating economic growth and job creation in our country.
Pupkewitz MegaBuild, through Micro-to-Mega deliberately creates strategic partnerships with small to medium entrepreneurs in rural areas, who are passionate about their business and community. In Ovitoto we identified one such entrepreneur, Eben-Ezer Kauapirura, the enthusiastic owner of Nguvitia Investment.
A teacher by profession, Kauapirura identified the need for building material and hardware within Ovitoto and surrounding areas. He saw this as an opportunity and took it upon himself to start a business that will meet his community’s needs. Slowly and steadily he managed to build a successful business and has proven to possess strong business acumen. Kauapirura is an inspiration and has the ability to grow a micro business idea into a mega sustainable business.
“Businesses like this, really reduce the distance people have to travel by bringing products closer to the people. As a leader, I can say that this business has really assisted a lot of our community members, who no longer have to travel long distances to buy these products.
I believe in the model of the Harambee Prosperity Plan and I want to help my people of Ovitoto, as well as contribute to the infrastructural development of our area, in line with the national development goals. Okandjira and Ovitoto at large, will only grow if those from the area invest in its development and have a heart for the villagers who are currently denied critical services,” said Kauapirura.
