Competition Terms and Conditions

The promoter of this competition is Ohorongo Cement (Pty) Ltd hereafter Ohorongo Cement together with M Pupkewitz & Sons (Pty) Ltd t/a Pupkewitz Megabuild and t/a Builders Warehouse hereafter referred to as Pupkewitz. This competition is open to all residents of Namibia, except employees of Ohorongo Cement, Pupkewitz Megabuild and Builders Warehouse, their spouse and dependents and advertising agencies. The competition runs from 14 July 2021 to 14 August 2021 and no entries will be accepted after that date. During this period (14 July 2021 to 14 August 2021) customers can take part in the competition as stated later. One (1) winner will be selected.

To enter the competition, the entrant must purchase Ohorongo Cement product(s) from the 14 July 2021 until 14 August 2021 at any participating Megabuild branches and send an SMS with the following: Ohorongo followed by name of the customer and invoice number to 33555.

The competition closes on 14 August 2021, and no late entries will be accepted. One invoice is valid for one entry and invoices cannot be split to increase the number of entries. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatsoever reason.

The prize is one (1) concrete mixer to the value of N$24,000.00 and the prize is not transferable to cash. Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize with equivalent value, without giving notice. The winner will be informed telephonically on the day of the draw 16 August 2021. Any deviation from the terms and conditions and/or attempt to manipulate the outcome of the prize will result in disqualification. Neither Ohorongo Cement, Pupkewitz or any co-sponsor can be held liable for damages or losses and no claim(s) can be issued against them.

By entering this competition, entrants give Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz permission to contact them regarding the development of the competition and future promotions.  All participants agree and authorize Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz – for the purposes of this competition – to be identified, announced as the winner, have their name, images, photographs, and video taken and published in the media which shall include print, television, press, internet, and social media (at no additional cost to Ohorongo Cement or Pupkewitz).  Failing to agree will result in such participant forfeiting the prize to the next alternate winner.

If required, Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz shall have the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice and /or to amend or alter the relevant prizes.  In the event of such termination, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz, their agents and promoters. Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz cannot be held liable for personal damages or expenses.

Winner may not send a representative to represent them to collect their prize and need to be present themselves with their identification documents.
